Worry Wart

It was a normal day except I'm starting to be a worrier.
These are my worries for the day:
1. That I will catch swine flu and not be able to finish this IVF cycle....I know it's crazy!
2. That I will get some kind of other sickness and not be able to finish...I work around 4 year olds so it could happen...
3. I have had a small amount of brown spotting the last two days...is that okay??? If anyone knows please let me know!!
4. That when I go for retrieval there won't be any mature eggs.
5. That none of the eggs will fertilize.
6. That none of the eggs will make it to blastocyst.
7. That I won't finish everything at work before the end of the school year.

It feels a lot better to let it out!! Please say some prayers for us that this works out. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thursday.

Of course I am hoping and praying for you! But things tend to have a way of working themselves out, so I'm sure you'll be fine. :) And, though I am DEFINITELY not one to say this, worrying doesn't do much. (I worry ALL the time!!) But of course, a little hoping can't hurt, so you've got it!

I'm sorry your worrying but your not alone. All I keep thinking is what is i get swine flu and my little embryos die! You'll get through this and i'm sure you'll have mature fertilized eggs but then a whole new set of worries start!

I totally understand. I was the SAME WAY and as you know, still worry my fair share!! As for the spotting, yes it is usually ok at the beginning of the cycle- just ask them.

You, my dear are SO YOUNG and healthy, that I know you will produce plenty of mature eggs which will fertilize and make beautiful embryos.

I bought a CD called "Help with Fertility" that was positive affirmations (on AMAZON) and it helped me picture each stage in a positive way.

Thinking of you, cheering you on. Don't worry about Swine flu- the media is just bored. ;)

It's so understandable to worry. You're spending a lot of time, money and emotions on this. I wish I knew about the spotting. Hopefully someone does.

Thinking of you!! (((HUGS)))

Hang in there--i went through that too. It is hard not to worry, but try to keep busy with other activities and read/watch something funny. It really helped to keep our minds off of everything! Before you know it you'll be on the other side looking back at how you made it through just fine! ;-)the 2 week wait was the WORST!! we cheated and took a home test because we just couldn't wait for the blood tests!! ;=)
