Answering some ??'s about my last post...

I had a few questions about my last post...
1. A trial transfer or "mock" transfer is when the doctor "pretends" he is going to transfer the embryos. They do it because everyone's uterus/cervix measures differently and they want to make sure they put the embryos back in the right place. So basically they are just measuring you. It's just another thing they do to help ensure that they everything goes right.

2. Thanks for commenting about my "yummy food". I LOVE to cook. I wanted to be a chef but they work when everyone else is off having fun....so I cook for the people I love!! My husband really loves it!!

3. My tentative embryo transfer is May 5th. This depends on how my ovaries react to the medicine. My tentative day 5 transfer is May 10th (Mother's Day)...I really think that is a GOOD sign. Don't you?? :) I start stims next Friday (April 24th). The rest depends on how my ovaries treat me!! I'm hoping they react good and everything goes as planned!! Say some prayers for us please!!!

Well I'm off to....can you guess....yes, cook supper....beef stir fry and lo mien. I really love Chinese but I need to lose a few pounds so I'm cooking it myself so I can make it healthier:)

I can't help you because we never did a mock transfer... being switched from IUI to IVF at the last minute does that! But I can say that I am hoping and praying and crossing fingers for you!! I hope the next few weeks go smoothly for you!!!

make sure your bladder is REALLY full!!! I did not do this and my mock transfer was a little painful (although I think I was just nervous!) It is really fast though!

I'm excited for your transfer!! Our anniversary is the 5th, so I'll for sure remember it if that's the day. :)

I'm sure things will work out very well for you! I LOVE to cook too but this diet I'm on doesn't leave me able to eat much AND my husband is SO picky!
