8 weeks!!!

I can't believe that my little lovebug is 8 weeks old!! Time sure is flying by. We started a night time routine on Tuesday: bath at 7:15, 2 stories, prayers, bottle/songs, bed. I am still breastfeeding but am giving a bottle at bed so that when brandon does it, it won't be confusing. She has been doing better since the routine. Last night she slept from 8:15-1:15 1:30-4:30 4:30-8:15. I can't complain about that. We go to the Doctor on Monday to get her shots. I will post her stats after that. I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!

She is beautiful!!! I'm telling you. It will be like a switch went off when she starts sleeping longer stretches. It is the wierdest thing. You sound like you are on the right track!!!

Mine are getting their shots on Monday too. Poor babies.

Look at her!! She has grown so much! What a beautiful girl. Her nighttime sleeping sounds a lot like what Drake is doing right now. I keep hoping that 1:30-4:30am will extend to 6:30 before I go back to work. Can't wait to hear her stats!

I love the pink dress pic! She's so cute.

Nighttime sleep (or lack of it) is frustrating. For eight weeks she sounds like she's doing well. Are you breastfeeding only? It takes those babies way longer to go long stretches at night. I couldn't listen to my formula fed friends brag about how long their babies slept. :) She'll get there. Maddy still wakes up once a night to eat. Nine or ten hours is the longest she can go. She goes to bed at 7:00 so she still gets up at 4 or 5 am to eat before sleeping til 7. I'm not sure when she'll go 12. You get used to the middle of the night feed. It doesn't really bother my anymore as long as it's only once a night.

She is adorable!! That is a great bed time routine you have set up. Its exactly what I do with my 1 year old (besides the bottle) After we read books I lay her in her crib and she puts herself to sleep. So...thats a great thing you have started with your sweetie.
