I gather that more embryos stop growing between Days 3 and 5 because it really isn't an ideal environment for them So the good rates from Day 5 could be because only the super duper embies make it that far...but maybe a weaker embryo has a chance if it gets put back in its proper environment on Day 3. So I think either will give you a great shot!
T.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7686857143203379501.post-58284121885289923422009-05-08T13:26:00.000-05:002009-05-08T13:26:00.000-05:00Hey, I completely understand your frustrations. And I will be hoping that they are all super strong embies so that you can transfer two and freeze two.

GOOD LUCK!
T.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7686857143203379501.post-22892607673362432012009-05-08T08:29:00.000-05:002009-05-08T08:29:00.000-05:00Good luck to you and hopefully we will hear good n...Good luck to you and hopefully we will hear good news soon!Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02380087834102635018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7686857143203379501.post-24932578389690568052009-05-08T07:28:00.000-05:002009-05-08T07:28:00.000-05:00I am praying that all goes well with your four egg...I am praying that all goes well with your four eggs. ...Of course you're getting my good thoughts! :)

Just a maybe positive thought (I'm not naive enough to think that hearing other people's good stories will make things less stressful!)... we had 8 eggs retrieved, 6 were good, 3 fertilized, 2 cleaved... and here we are expecting fraternal twins from those 2 embryos... after a 3 day transfer! :)

My RE would only do a 5 day transfer if you had 5+ good embryos. If it was under 5, then it was automatically a 3 day. Either way, Carrie makes a good point about there being zillions of 3 day babies! :) But of course, I can completely understand your desire to wish that everything would go the absolute best that it can!

Best of luck!! Can't wait to hear on Saturday!!Stacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06675197616280434252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7686857143203379501.post-76528872932946034302009-05-07T19:45:00.000-05:002009-05-07T19:45:00.000-05:00Four is a great number.
